Abinay Brown is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research areas include autonomous systems for task and motion planning, guidance, navigation, and control, with applications in robotics and space systems that operate in safety-critical and uncertain environments. His areas of expertise span Robotics, Astrodynamics, Control Systems, Flight Dynamics, Systems Engineering, and Optimization.
He previously earned both his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. During his master’s program, he conducted thesis research, successfully defended his work, and served as a Teaching Assistant. As an undergraduate, he pursued multiple internships and research projects in areas such as rocketry, robotics, and astrodynamics.
Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Abinay enjoys kayaking, vintage film photography, collecting vinyl records, and exploring new cuisines each week.
